Christian was finally able to return to the cage after yet another one year lay-off, due to Corona and injuries. He travelled to Czech Republic with his team to face the highly experienced Palaiologos (18-10-0), but left him with little chance. The fight started aggressively with both fighters trading heavy hands and kicks, before the Greek shot for a takedown, which was reversed by Christian, who started with heavy ground and pound, before securing his opponents back and putting him to sleep with a rear naked choke. Christian was able to celebrate his 7th win in a row in a successful Oktagon MMA debut.
